i use a smart tray at 0.6 and still some lights go out with seconds, spintec claim the discharger goes down to 0.85, i know for a fact it takes some down to less then 0.7.
There is NO WAY this device or any other device that discharges the entire pack at once can cut-off at a per-cell voltage.

I am sure if it says it cuts of at .85 volts, the unit is calibrated to cut-off at 5.1 volts. Therefore, you could have 5 good cells going and one thats completly tanked, and the discharger would still keep discharging.....

This is ultimatly why a discharge tray is the only way to get all your cells to an even point. Besides dead shorting, but you need to take down a whole pack very slowly if you don't have a tray, and you want to dead short. Otherwise, you can be damaging the cells that have allready gone dead prior to cut-off.
