After having been away from this hobby for decades, I chose USGT as my point of re-entry. I'm in the SF Bay Area and haven't been to a race yet, mostly because of the public health situation. I'm trying not to let the recent posts about waning interest get me down. Glad to read this. I think speed wise, USGT and 17.5 stock tc are just about perfect. I just received a box of spares and maintenance parts today for my USGT car and I couldn't wait to get off work and start wrenching on it again.
When you do race again, be safe and have fun! We need more people to come back to RC!
