I absolutely hate gluing 1/12th scale tires. They seem to be great for two or three runs, then it seems you have to re-glue. I am a big fan of the rubber tires that Scott Jakes has made and really hoping that it catches on. I bought a set to try. My son (11 years old) will be running on rubber tire from here on, no matter what the class rules are. It is impossible to manage the race day keeping his 1/12th front glued and mine in good enough condition to keep a consistent running car. I only put up with it because 1/12th was my favorite class - what I started with. I am willing to endure some level of emotional pain to run the class that I love, but image a brand new racer trying 1/12th.
