The biggest 2 things about black carpet that’s so different from grey are : 1) it’s imperative on black to run the tires very small. I know, it’s hard to accept cutting away so much of a brand new tire,...but on the black rug, smaller tires definitely are the way to go. Thankfully tire wear on the black carpet is really low, so small tires do still last a good long time. 2) It’s also necessary to superglue the front tire sidewalls so that the tires don’t dig into the rug too much.....which causes the dreaded flippopottimus.
