I'm by no means a fantastic driver, but I've definitely learned to control my cars well. Last night my TQ in 21.5 had a 97% consistency with 2 minor mistakes throughout the 5 min heat.
I'm not seeking some wild custom motor that was binned - Mostly trying to get the most bang for my buck. If Im going to spend 80-120$ I may as well get the best product I can get my hands on.
If you are already winning with the current brand motor you have, just stick with that brand. I'm sure their 13.5 is just as good. I swapped my Reedy out for a Tekin. I have seen a slight increase with the Tekin. As for the other brands, I haven't had a chance to compare.
