Carbon tower work good. They have some 'flex' to it as well. I use them in the rear mainly. Also if the aluminum tower is bent you won't know unless you take it apart and lay it flat on a table. At least with a carbon tower, if it breaks it breaks. Only issue is cost.
I have been running rear carbon towera on both SRX8 nitro and ebuggy and no issues after 3 years of many crashes.
