Got to try a few changes to the buggy today. Installed mud guards, I don’t see them used to often but I’m not sure what the drawbacks would be of using them? They seemed to do well with preventing the mud from getting caked onto the rear arms and shocks.
also extended the rear shock posts out about 2.5mm. Seemed to add a little rear grip, as I was told it would help with weight transfer at the rear. It was hard to compare as the last time I was at the track the surface was much drier all around.
I also recently picked up a used Fusion X5lc by nova motor. It didn’t have as much runtime as the Maxy’s and not as much low and mid end power either. It seemed to be a tad rich so I’m sure I can pick up some more power hopefully. Should be a nice practice motor.
