thanks.. I dont think I damaged anything because it now runs great and will idle through a whole tank.
when I first noticed it happening I tried to see inside the carb as to what was going on but couldnt tell..
this motor was a pain to break in.. it now has about 1/2 gallon through it and is still very hard to turn over by hand.. hot or cold.
