According to Google findings the Futaba receiver you mentioned is equipped with a BEC, the Hobbywing ESC also has a BEC. If you connect both you also connect both BEC together. I cannot proove, but this is maybe your cause of trouble (ESc shutdown or other crazy stuff)?
