I'm running airtronics digitals right now in my 1/8 and GT for steering. I didn't like them at first b/c of the noise they made. But I've gotten used to them, and you can't beat the speed of them.
I wouldn't have gotten any new, but one was a great deal used, and the other one is borrowed for the time being.
