It's been a while since a posted an update on this so here goes. I have a lot more track time with this truck since last time I posted. I've had it out to the backyard track that I run on probably 10 or 12 times this year and it's dialed. I'm running proline calibers all the way around and they give the perfect amount of grip for my driving style. Bite hard on the straights and keep the rear end under control on the turns but still let loose when I need them to. Also I played around some with the rear springs and oil and I have corrected the nose dive issue. Turns out it was in fact the rear end bottoming out on the face of the jumps. It flies pretty flat now but it's not very responsive to throttle input in the air. My skills as a driver are improving enough that I can tool the truck around to the track pretty well. I only own one other car that I can get around the track faster than this one, an Xray XB4. But this is easily my favorite to drive.
Also on the durability front, I've done alot of cartwheels and crashed quite a few times and nothing has broken yet. Aside from the issues I mentioned at the beginning of this thread which have since been resolved I have had no problems with this truck whatsoever. I even really like the Tacon radio that comes with the truck, it's small light and has no antenna on the transmitter and a super short one on the receiver. Never had a glitch even with 15 or so other radios going at the same time.
