Actually I can - well at least for a LT in the Army. I was making $666 per month in June of 1977 (number is easy to remember). Right now they make $3,287 per month.
Also a number I can remember. I made $1.63 per hour as a dishwasher in 1972 (minimum wage +3 cents for uniform cleaning). Now that would be scaled at minimum wage which (depending on state is over $10.00 ) in 1980 minimum wage was $3.10 which is equivalent to 10.39 now.
