I ran the MP9evo for almost two seasons and I have ran my MP10E at two races so far. My first race out at a local track I saw my fastest laps drop by over a half second and all of my qualifiers and main were faster times than I have ever had at this track in almost two years. The MP10E rotates better and carries more corner speed over the MP9evo. The buggy is a big step forward over the MP9evo. My second race was a state race in the Midwest with a very fast group of racers and I qualified for the A. The MP10E is very good. I have been running 7000s, but I am also testing with 5800 shorties with no runtime issues for a 10 min main.
I noticed exactly the same thing you did with my nitro MP10 vs MP9.
