Geared right it should move ok , I’m just like you I don’t really care for wheelies and stuff I’m running a 3s setup in my traxxas summit and it’s just a tad faster than stock and that’s all I was looking for I wouldn’t mind running 4s but the summit is kind of heavy and those diffs are just way too small. I fear I’ll go through diffs left and right . If only traxxas would do a brushless sensored summit 2.0 . I’d be all over that! And no I’m not a traxxas fan boy I’ve owned em all,my favorite line is in fact the lst line, I used to race a lightened up lst with a Losi 3.4 and would spank the high dollar Revo’s all the time but parts support is sadly not all that great for lst and traxxas parts are a dime a dozen on eBay so I gotta go with what works best for me.
