This radio is making me miss my expo! I have the dual rate setup where it barely makes the tighter turns as well. I went 1 step harder in tires all around witch seemed help dull the car down a bit. (K30 slick in front, K20 radial in rear).
Any suggestions for setup on this track with 98MM Box Stock?
I never got comfortable with the last circuit but I am loving this months track.......getting the arc from the main straight into the short straight and into turn 2 is awesome when you get it right. I am not going to be much help on set-up since I run PN tires. I have tried the Kyoshos but I just can't make them work, I feel like I can never get enough steering. Not having expo is a bummer but I am still running max rates for steering as I can use the extra throw to scrub the fronts and get a but more off throttle steering as that seems to work for me. I have found going softer in the rear takes away a bit of the edge, I was experimenting last night and found I had more confidence in the car with a softer T-Plate.
There have been times where I throw my hands in the air and just rebuild the car with the softest set up and work up from there......these little cars can be frustrating at times.
Keep at it and you will get it up to speed.
