Started out with March's track with my first try at this, so April was an easy transition and had pretty good results with both directions. This track on the other hand is kicking my #$%! I am getting there with my LM car, but the Box Stock 98MM is not working well for me at all. It seems really twitchy and is hard for me to make smooth arcs into and out of the long straight. This radio is making me miss my expo! I have the dual rate setup where it barely makes the tighter turns as well. I went 1 step harder in tires all around witch seemed help dull the car down a bit. (K30 slick in front, K20 radial in rear).
Any suggestions for setup on this track with 98MM Box Stock?
That tire combo is my favorite on most cars. Try stiffer t-plate, then stiffer front springs. If you are on #3 and red, those are both pretty soft. Just make one change at a time and test. Also try ditching the gyro. There is no radio limit in box stock, so if you have a better one, use it. Good luck and be sure to report back!
