as far as the spacers, the gearboxes carried over from the A215 line, just raised 4mm, the spacers are now attached at the factory and there are zero issues as far as I know using this method , this was the most cost effective way to manufacture a new part with it’s pretty much the same, creating or even modifying the existing mold is costly and could potentially cause unknown issues as well
