There are fuel powered R/C F1 vehicles that exist, but they are normally larger than 1/10 scale and they have been around for years. For example Kyosho has fueled powered R/C F1 vehicles with some models being over 20 years old. Unfortunately due to the size of the vehicles and the noise/fumes it isn't always practical to race these vehicles at every venue. R/C racing doesn't always need to be an exact representation of full sized racing.
