Default My April 2020 90mm Narrow Stock Results

Class-90mm Narrow Stock
Date-4/25/2020
Location-Winston-Salem, NC
Race Time-5:41.724 (341.724)
Fastest Lap-4.317
Chassis-MR-03EVO SP ASF
Body-Ford Focus
Wheelbase-90mm
Tires-K30 flat fronts, K30 radial rears (19mm 0 offset all around)
Motor-ATM 70T
Batteries-Kyosho 800s

T-Plate-PN CF #6
Motor Mount-PN MR9094 90mm
Dampener (If applicable)-PN Integrated
Dampener Fluid (If applicable)-None
Gearing-PN 64p 10/52 Ball diff
Notes-I tried the inner tube front suspension which helped dampen the hop, but still had traction rolling issues. Adjusting the roll center all but eliminated that problem and I switched back to regular front end and 19mm rear wheels with K30 radials instead of 20s and the car is very good and a blast to drive! At the moment it is sitting right between my Box Stock car at 350 seconds and my GT 70T car at 330 seconds. I'd like to get it closer to the 330 mark, but I'm happy with the 341.7.

Notes-Brand new build on 4/10. This is my 12th run while trying different tires front and rear. Car still has some hop, and I'd like to try the inner tube front suspension to see if it will help. This car is a blast to drive!

Notes-I am only including this for comparison purposes. This car is not a 90mm wb, but it is the only other "Narrow" car I have and I wanted to see how is did compared to the Focus as I've never raced it. I actually borrowed the inner tube front suspension from this car to try on my 90mm Narrow car to help with the hop. This car also suffers from traction rolling, and adjusting the roll center helped and I also switched to K30 radials instead of 20s in the rear and the car is very good and also fun to drive! At the moment it is sitting right between my 90mm Narrow car at 342 seconds and my GT 70T car at 329 seconds. If enough people have the Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86 body, it would be nice to have a class for them.
