I have had the track for 2 weeks and I still suck. The track is set up in my garage and has not seen temp. above 50degreeF, impossible to have a traction role.

It is amazing how sensitive to temps these cars are.I was shocked at the difference in forward traction from 64* to 68*s. Spring is coming and learning to drive on a low traction surface will do nothing but make you better no matter how frustrating it is.
BTW, I believe you are currently on the podium in 2nd place in the Stock Class ;-)
