Hello. Would the lectron 5200mah 35c lipo be a good battery for using with the torque tuned tamiya motor? They don't seem like a bad battery. Is 35c enough punch for the torque tuned motor for club racing on a medium/small track? Thanks for the help
Personally I always go for the highest "C" rating I can find, something in the 100c range, 35c seems really low if you plan on racing this car. I am sure others will argue w/ me and I am no expert on batteries, yet I believe that a higher C rating will provide more power. The way it was explained to me is the C rating represents the amount of current flowing from the battery through the ESC to the motor, more current equals more power. For bashing you won't notice a difference, but for racing on a track w/ others it may. Again, I do not claim to be an expert and welcome someone w/ more knowledge on batteries to shed more light on this subject.
