For example, I charge to 4.28. By the time I get to tech, the battery is down to 4.25. Add in a little resistance from dirty meter leads, the tech inspector sees 4.21v. Our limit is 4.22.

All of the tech tools are available at the tech table during practice, where I race. You can compare your battery voltage to the meters reading then. No idea if IFMAR does anything like that. 4.205 is an unacceptable ruling. That racer should have not been DQ'd until 4.21. Should have let him race. (unless this is just the rumor, and he accidentally was caught with 4.25. Which seems more likely)

Although it was the 2nd time? If you got one free pass, then you have nothing to complain about......
