As far as scale liveries go, some of us have been around long enough to remember Autographoics and their demise. I have also spoken directly to people in the hobby who made scale decals getting cease-and-desist letters from companies as large as Ferrari.
Rob has operated USGT and USVTA rules as a benevolent dictatorship. He may (or may not) listen to what you have yo say. He WILL do what he thinks is best....and he's been doing a damned good job for more than a decade.
