Anthony, they have become a hoarders item since being discontinued … there are a handful of guys grabbing all they can, so that they can sell them on eBay in the $25-35 range for a set, and there are some that pay it, even though they were $7 a set when they were in production …
I have just gone to the B6 Ball Cups (91722) for the last few '5' series vehicles I have put out and not looked back … they are still $7 a set and available most everywhere … some say they have problems 'popping off' on hard impact, but with all the B6 and B6.1 series vehicles I see racing everywhere, I am not witnessing it as a rampant problem … and, they are naturally freer over the ball studs without needing compressing …
