The XR8 SCT is designed to be used for 4WD SCT on 2S or 1/8 eBuggy on 4S, it's a very good ESC, but doesn't have nearly as many features that the XR10 Pro has which I linked before (note that the XR10 Pro can be used with most 4WD SCT motors too!)... if you plan to run 13.5 stock, then the XR10 Pro will be the way to go, especially because the XR8 will be extremely difficult to fit in most 1/10 buggies because it's significantly larger.
