TurnanBurn, that is a Old school tip.i use do that on 12th scale. The grub screws they use for drop are normally pretty blunt and should not be issue. Still a good tip for sure.
A rounded off end would certainly help for sure, but it’s still a matter of the harder material winning over time. 🙂
