Default Power Station Project

I would like to setup a power station at my house. This station will not leave my house, as I already have my 308 and PS that I use for travel. What I have for my house is a brand new icharger x6, a Competition Electronics 23 amp PS, a CRC tire lathe, SKY RC motor analyser, SKY Tire Sander, SKY RC scales, and a tire gluing device. I have an old Integy distribution block that overheats as well. What I would like to do is to make some sort of voltage reducer so I can use my PS to power the SKY RC accessories, which I generally use a 2s battery for now. The main function of the x6 will be to discharge my batterie to their storage voltage, and to charge the life battery for my TX. Also, it will be used to cycle batteries during the summer when I am not racing. I need to make discharge banks for 2s and 1s lipos. For the 2s I know I need 5 x 1 ohm, 100 watt resisters. Not sure what I need for the 1s to discharge at 30 amps. And I have no idea what I need to reduce the voltage on my PS to 8.4v for the accessories. So any help is most appreciative, including links to other projects where people may have already done this. I am not adverse to reading what others have already done!

If anyone is interested, I can take pics and chronicle the build process. Will probably take a bit to do since this isn’t a priority, it is mainly a convenience.
