Timing question. I just started running on-road and I went with the GT class to get my feet wet. I'm slowly working out the gearing since I run on a very small crc track. Fast guys are putting down mid 7's consistently while my average was 8.1. So that tells you how small the track is. I picked up a Reds 21.5t and gearing ratio is 3,993 but feels like mid range is kinda weak. I've been looking into the timing and I've seen the "sweet spot" is pulling 6 amps. I believe I'm at 40* if that helps any. Would the lack of mid be from timing or gearing? It's also a MTC-1. Not the norm but it's what I went with. Thanks
stay away from the 6amp myth , my 21.5 barely pulls 3.8 amps and it’s ballistic
