Okay fellas I have an update. I took the truck out to the track today it was a mixed bag, it takes the corners great and handles really well but jumping not so much, it is dives nose straight down unless you keep the throttle completely pinned but even then it still really wants to go nose first. It corners significantly better than my Slash 4x4 and I think it's more enjoyable to drive but when it comes to jumping the Slash is miles ahead. Also the durability... The Slash is a tank! I can beat the snot out of it and nothing breaks the caster... Not so much. My first time out with it last weekend I had the arm come off and today at the track the end of the cvd came out of the outdrive about every 3rd or 4th jump then after about 10 minutes of driving the pins fell out of the cvd... So to be clear I haven't actually had a real parts breakage bit the truck just doesn't seem to want to stay together... I think part of the problem is just that the parts have so much flex. I'm wondering if I'm just having a few fluke things or if this is common. Anybody know?
