I was looking on the Spektrum site at the DX5 PRO. It states you need to use the 36* cam for the small wheel. Did you use that cam? The cams are apparently sold separately, kind of stupid, part number SPM9055.
I just purchased the optional small Black DX5/DX6R wheel, and it comes with the smaller cam (purchased ahead of the radio, because I wanted to make sure my old Kimbrough wheel horn fits on it
). Makes sense, since it is mentioned that the cam is required to use it.
