I run an old Futaba low profile servo that's done good service in a few cars. It is a S9550.
The front long bold goes through the wing, so yes a one bolt mount. Some wings need a light trim to fit.
I have fitted a fan before but not for a while. Used a 2nd motor mount on the non-diff side and secured the fan to that with a long bolt and nyloc nut.
Some others I have seen fun a fan mounted over the motor. Don't have a photo of that (sorry!)
