Possible 2019 ACT Indoor Titles
Hi Guys,
taking the temperature of people to see what the interest is in an ACT Indoor State Titles in August or September.
At this stage I'm thinking these classes:
TT - this is our 'home grown' TT classes. Basically Tamiya TT-02 with oil shocks, bearings and Torque motors.
21.5 - as per RCRA rules
1/12th Stock as per RCRA rules.
Mini - Tamiya FWD M-Chassis
Classic's - Pre 2001 Touring Cars
Control Tyre's - the three TC classes will run 'our control tyres'. Probably two sets at around $25.
1/12th Control Tyre's - This seems to have worked for ATS, what do people think? Control tyres so everyone is on the same tyre?
21.5 Motors - Would people like us to investigate running with the RCRA or XRS 21.5 control motors for this meeting (if you don't own one you will be able to hire one).
13.5 - We have tried 13.5 on our carpet with our control tyres and found the car lap at the same pace as the 21.5's, only with a lot more wheel spin. Is there any interest in running this class, either with lots of wheels spin or on foam tyres?
