kobiwan, there are a few setups that will work on black carpet. I would recommend getting the 2mm stiff weave chassis, the ultra low short shocks/towers and the low roll center blocks. These parts will wake the car up and give it the steering you will need. I like to start with Elliot Harper's setup from DHI - Odense...found on
