It's sad to see that the Engine Mfg's are pushing the 4 Minute mark now as the 4 Minute qualifier was put in place so not to burn down the engines running them on the death line. If they are going to do this put it back to 5 Minutes !!!!
If they increase the minimum time limit, people will just hate ROAR even more than they do now. Racers hate being told they aren't allowed to go as fast as they possibly can.
Furthermore, engineers will always try to achieve maximum possible performance -- or if performance is artificially limited, engineers will always try to achieve maximum
permissible performance. The only way for that to not happen is to remove engineers from the process entirely, and force racers to buy engines built by amateurs who don't know how to achieve maximum performance.
