what 5mm bullets are people using? Low profile ones do not really allow the bullet to seat the whole way.
You can solder your wires at an angle (like 30-40 degrees up) so they clear the battery strap, or you can use a little bit longer wires so they stick out away from the battery and clear the strap by pointing out to the sides.
