I had an mbx6 with a Tekin RX8 gen 2 and 1900kv tekin motor about 7-8 years ago, but electric wasn't a big thing back then and I sold everything to focus on nitro 1/10 and electric 1/10. But during the time I had my RX8, it failed on me with a lot of white smoke. It was replaced by the European distributor at the time without too much hassle, but I'm wondering how the GEN 3 is doing for you guys in a 1/8th scale buggy on outdoor tracks. Are the failure rates lower than than with the Gen 2?
