Yes you can, when the rod of your RC engine has decided to come out of the crankcase you throw the engine in your 1:1 car and then you can run many liters with still not replacing the rod of your RC engine.
Yes, in the ofroad many liters is done, with the onroad it can be over within 10 liters, for sure when you have a high performance competition engine and you run it as a pro. Would you risk a 500 dollar engine over a 40 dollar rod replacement?
