I'm 99.9% certain that the included foam is NOT to "add weight". If you look at the elongated shape of the body, you'll realize it's included purely for the purpose of stabilizing the body against the chassis bumper, as well as attempting to protect the front of the body from being crushed if crashed...nothing more, nothing less. Take whatever chassis you're using, remove the foam bumper, place the body on, crash it into something at race speed...and then compare your body to how it would have looked if crashed with the foam bumper attached. My guess is, it will be crumpled without the foam.
