Depends on your motor and how you have it mounted. With a MC2 I either had to shim the motor out or clock it so the bottom endbell screw wouldn't hit the chassis cutout. You could grind the cutout longer for clearance if you wanted.

Motors like the Can-Am Stock motor have a flush endbell so it's not an issue...
Grind the screw head at a 45 degree angle and problem solved on the MC2. Or do what we do just take that screw out. Never had a problem ever doing it that way...
