On my 90MM chassis I am running a Kyosho carbon dampener and no shock, I am running a PN (IIRC) 86MM T-Plate that is very soft transversely but pretty stiff vertically. . I have tried a few different fluids and and not felt much difference so I just kind of stick with few drops of 40wt shock oil. With that being said play with the tension on the springs and spacers under the springs, that does make a difference.

Cheers,
Jim
