As a rule of thumb I've heard every .1 change in piston hole size is similar to a 5wt oil change. So 35wt with a 1.8 will be close to 30wt with a 1.7
Thanks for the info. Since I'm racing turf without many large jumps I'm probably better off with the 1.8?
