Chuck there is no way to keep it from collecting mud. You can try spraying them down with WD-40 but that only works for a while. I've never been to that track. You are WAY South right at the border. I can guess that to might have a hard pack dusty track when not watered though. Loose will be a track thats has a good bit of sand or is more like your average dirt track. Hard pack has more clay in it and outdoors they tend to get dusty.
