This is the glue that I use. Only costs $2.99 at Hobby Lobby and it works perfect for gluing sidewalls. I prep my fronts as described previously and start them at around 41.3mm. The glue stays good until the tires are completely worn down to the rim. Typically I get at least a full race day on one set of tires and very often I can squeeze 2 days out of the same set.
