I'm not sure. . .I have tightened my spare diff down as tight as I can get it without breaking it and it still "diffs" and is still smooth (I pride myself on my smooth diffs. . .gotta have SOMETHING I'm good at. . .
) but I haven't checked its action in the car yet. . .
