The icharger Duos are great chargers but to get the most out of them you are going to need a 1000W 24 V power supply. Look at these combos for comparison.
https://www.progressiverc.com/the-su...00w-combo.html but this is only a 600W systems so only 300 Watts per side if they are both going. Not a lot more than the 625 Duo.

https://www.progressiverc.com/the-fu...00w-combo.html but that is a 1500 W system. You;d never need another but it it is a lot more money.

I own a 1000 W system with an older i306B. It is great. Chargers anything. But I mostly only use it for 6S 5000 helicopter batteries.

You kind of get what you pay for and $150 budget is a little low for a decent system for 4S.
Agreed.

I spent a few hours searching on a budget. For what I need a charger to do, which is not wait around for an hour or more for a 4s 6500mah pack to charge fully, so essentially charge it as fast as possible, without spending more than $300 and not blow up the lipos, the Protek 625 Duo is perfect. I can charge my packs at more than a puny 1C and not have to worry about a $300 charger, a $100 or more power supply and one of those cool stands to put em on.

But if you're on a budget, and hey I understand, no judging here, please stay within your means, and don't mind waiting for an hour or more for a pack to charge then go for a budget one!

I can't wait to order my 625 in a week or 2 :-D
