I like liquid wrench blue but it is the lubricating kinds so it drys slow, I normally wipe it off after 10 mins. I switch between it and Sticky Kicks orange that I actually watered down so I would get some more use out of the bottle, but you must shake it or you might get mostly water and no extra grip. Really the water is not recommended.

I actually read people were mixing Liquid Wrench blue with either Sticky Kicks or a faster drying spray like brake cleaner so that it will dry up, but who really knows except them?

Its all tire dope to me.. but honestly the reason I don't just stick with the cheap Liquid Wrench Blue is because the fumes it gives off even though I sprayed it into an applicator bottle.. I don't like to use it multiple times in the same day.
I don' know what sticky kicks is but I can use it multiple times on two cars in the same day and the smell/fumes do not bother me.. in no way does that mean it is any safer though.

If you want something super cheap and easy go WD-40, that is an old time favorite. People mix it with PB Blaster or brake cleaner or I think hairspray?

If you want my personal recommendation would be to order the bottle of sticky kicks Yellow, it is just one touch down from orange. Use a good applicator bottle so you do not waste any and it will last awhile.
Clean/dry tires then apply Sticky Kicks yellow 10 mins before your run. Should be good to go.
