i own 3 boats and none have self righting. i had one that always flipped. after flipping it and it eventually drifting to where it was getting caught in the weeds, i lost the battle with poison ivy. i completely stopped using that boat once i retrieved it back.

On the 2 boats i still use, i was considering trying to add a flood chamber to them because i only have 3 lipos now to share between my boats and my cars, and if i lose 2 from a lost at sea boat i would give up on boats completely. I wish i knew then what i know now about boating

to the OP, the point of this story, try to find one with built in self righting. i know i am not jumping into any lake in NJ to retrieve a flipped boat and i dont own a full size boat to get it back.
