i had a cat that would flip over quite a bit. i stopped using it because of it. i have 2 v-hull's that have never flipped over. the problem with flipping over is how do you retrieve it. i had built a retriever boat that didnt work and eventually i just stopped using the cat because it was too easy to flip.
i am not saying this is typical, but had i only had the cat, i would have stopped using boats and never bothered with it again

in my opinion the cat looks cooler, but the v-hull ran better.

this is just my opinion. also, any boat can flip if driven too bad.
