I am running Duracell nimh Batts, I added a charge plug to the inside tray. They don't last nearly as long as lithium cells, But it saves me a little money.
Has anyone tried putting in a 6v Bec with a 3s lipo?
Not me, but I've modified other radios to use a 2S LiFe battery. These put out between 6.2-6.7V and are usually within the voltage specification. I looked for info on the DX5C input voltage range and unfortunately couldn't find anything, so not sure if it would work.
