Changed from 0.9 side spring to 1.2 improved steering (Xray X12 2017 aluminum chassis), but I want to make the car easier to drive. Still new to 1/12, need some help here. Thanks.
As Desertrat mentioned, your front spring could be too stiff. The kit front springs are way stiffer than what Xavier and I settled on for carpet, which is the soft silver (link below)

Probably 3 years ago Xavier and I started comparing Xray springs to CRC because of the way CRC marks their springs using the wire thickness as antlockyer mentioned. Xray also has the wire size in their part description. Xray also has different coil counts so you may notice that there are two different springs that are 0.45mm wire, but one is C=2.0 while the other is C=2.5, the softer spring having more coils.
